While searching from Flickr for a picture to write about and post, I came across this. It is taken from an airplane and shows some of the destruction from Haiti's recent earthquake in Port-Au-Prince. I chose this one because we are taking our youth group to the YWAM base in Haiti in June for a mission trip. We scheduled this trip last summer after sensing a strong calling from God to go there. We can only hope that we can be a small blessing to the people of Haiti while we are there. God works in amazing ways!

Wow, I just created a blog. In this day of technology, I figured I finally needed to catch up and know how to do the things my children do. Looking forward to learning more from this class.
